Joseph Partridge was born on 15 Mar 1705/06 in Medfield, Massachusetts to Eleazer Partridge and Elizabeth Allen.[1] He died on 22 Jun 1770 in Bellingham, Massachusetts.[2] He married (1) Elizabeth Garnsey (daughter of Henry Garnsey and Sarah Wheelock) on 26 Feb 1728/29 in Wrentham, Massachusetts. She was born on 10 Nov 1705 in Medfield. She died on 13 Jan 1731/32 in Bellingham.[3] Elizabeth Partridge also went by the name of Betty Partridge. He married (2) Eunice Morse (daughter of Jonathan Morse and Jane Whitney) on 01 Dec 1732 in Holliston, Massachusetts. She was born on 10 Aug 1706 in Sherborn, Massachusetts. She died on 03 Nov 1785 in Bellingham.[2]

Joseph removed with his father to Bellingham, where he afterwards lived.

Will[edit | edit source]

Aaron Holbrook (son-in-law), of Bellingham, was admitted administrator on his estate, 13 July 1770 [4] In the final settlement of the estate the widow Eunice received one-third and her son-in-law, Aaron Holbrook, the remaining two thirds, the latter paying to Joseph's only surviving child, Elizabeth, and to the children of his deceased daughter, Kezia Hill, their ratable shares.[5]

Joseph Partridge and Elizabeth Garnsey had the following children:

  1. Keziah Partridge was born on 22 Jan 1729/30 in Bellingham, Massachusetts.[6] She died on 07 Nov 1767 in Wrentham, Massachusetts. She married Ephraim Hill (son of Ebenezer Hill and Ann Allen) on 13 Mar 1758 in Medway, Massachusetts. He was born on 10 Jul 1731 in Wrentham.
  2. Elizabeth "Betty" Partridge was born on 24 Dec 1731 in Bellingham.[7] She died on 04 Dec 1772 in Bellingham.[2]

Joseph Partridge and Eunice Morse had the following children:

  1. Hannah Partridge was born on 06 Nov 1733 in Bellingham.[7] She married Aaron Holbrook on 03 Jun 1762 in Mendon, Massachusetts. Resided Bellingham. Children.
  2. Asa Partridge was born on 23 Oct 1736 in Bellingham.[7] He died on 10 Dec, 1746 in Bellingham.[8] There is a gravestone marker in Central Cemetery, Bellingham for an Asa Partridge, @8, d. 10 Dec 1746.
  3. Rachel Partridge was born on 14 May 1739 in Bellingham.[6]
  4. Phebe Partridge was born on 02 Jul 1741 in Holliston, Massachusetts.[9] She died on 02 Jul 1741.
  5. Joseph Partridge was born on 26 May 1743 in Bellingham.[6] He died on 07 Oct 1746 in Bellingham.[3]
  6. Peter Partridge was born on 17 Jul 1745 in Bellingham.[6] He died on 08 Oct 1746 in Bellingham.[3]
  7. Rhoda Partridge was born on 17 Oct 1748 in Bellingham.[6] She died on 20 Feb 1750/51 in Bellingham.[3]
