Aug. 26, 1881; m. May 1, 1831, Uriah B. Moore, who d. Sept. 22, 1884. Eight children. 16. Samuel Smith, b. Apr. 18, 1813; d. Jan. 20, 1872; m. (1) Aug. 18, 1835, Susan J. Seekel, who d. June 30, 1845; m. (2) Nov. 12, 1846, Lucy A. Gifford, who d. Dec. 26, 1895, aged 80 yrs. Two children by first wife; six by second wife.
43. LEVI 4 PARTRIDGE (Job, 8 Eleazer, 2 John 1) was born in Wrentham, Sept. 22, 1739. He married, in 1766, Lydia Miller of Keene, N. H. She was born Oct. 25, 1747, and died Nov. 28, 1798. He first settled in Dublin, N. H., but removed about 1779 to Keene. Soon after 1800 he located at Stockbridge, Vt., where he afterwards lived; and where he died Jan. 29, 1813.

viii. ASA, b. Apr. 18, 1786; d. Oct. 26, 1851; m. June, 1808, in Westmoreland, N. H., Charlotte, b. Milford, N. H., Aug. 19, 1786, dau. of David and Lydia (Twitchell) French. She d. July 5, 1871. They resided in Royalton and Stockbridge, Vt. Children: 1. Caroline, 7 b. Sept. 27, 1811; d. May 2, 1860; m. Dec. 10, 1840, in Stockbridge, Samuel A., b. Moriah, N. Y., July 18, 1813, d. Northfield, Vt., June 3, 1861, son of Moody and Betsey (Abbott) Johnson. They resided in Stockbridge and Northfield, Vt. Two children. 2. Hiram Cheney, b. July 5, 1814; d. Mch. 17, 1815. 3. Almira, b. Mch. 20, 1816; d. July 24, 1872; m. in Stockbridge, Vt., Jan. 14, 1834, Warren, b. Stockbridge, Jan. 17, 1797, d. Nov. 24, 1861, son of Uriah and Persis (Goodnow) Hayden. They resided in Stockbridge and Granville, Vt. One son. 4. Louisa, b. June
