Joshua Partridge was born to Joshua Partridge and Elizabeth Kingsbury in Medway, Massachusetts, April 20, 1745. He married, Sep 24, 1767, Hannah Cutler, born Sep 18, 1744, daughter of John and Hannah (Plimpton) Cutler of Medfield, Massachusetts. She died Jun 19, 1806, in Medway, where they resided. He died Aug 15, 1802. He was sergeant in Captain Lovell’s Co., Fourth Massachusetts Regiment, in service from Apr 19; 1775, to Dec 8, 1776.

- Priscilla Partridge, born Jun 14, 1774; died Aug 12, 1774.
- David Partridge, born Sep 20, 1775; died Apr 30, 1859; married Nov 29, 1804, Miriam Partridge, daughter of Samuel Partridge (53). They resided in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Children:
- Allen Partridge, 6 born Jan 16, 1806; died Mar 8, 1872; married Dec 11, 1828, Peggy A. Daniels, born in Holliston, Massachusetts, Jul 27, 1807, died Jun 11, 1887. They resided in Milford, Massachusetts, Harwinton, Connecticut, and Medway, Massachusetts Six children.
- Mary Ann Partridge; born Mar 26, 1808; died Dec 27, 1878; married Apr 8, 1827, Charies Abbe, born Feb 12, 1800, died Jul 7, 1877. They resided in Franklin, Massachusetts. Three children.
- Warren Partridge, born at Munson, Massachusetts, Mar 2, 1810; died in Boston, Massachusetts, Apr 30, 1871; married (1) in Sharon, Massachusetts, Nov 20, 1836, Elizabeth Billings, daughter of Jesse and Abigail (Capen) Billings; married (2) Oct 26, 1848, Mary Fales Capen, born Nov 23, 1815, died Apr 14, 1858. They resided in Boston. Four children by first wife.
- Hannah Partridge, born Oct 3, 1780; died Sep 1, 1810, unmarried.
- Sabra Partridge, born Aug 5, 1783; died Nov 29, 1793.
