Isaac Partridge (1770-1850)

Isaac Partridge, born to Malachi Partridge and Abigail Johnson on 26 Nov 1770; settled in Holland, Massachusetts. Married 4 Jun 1795 at Monson, Celia Groves, intention filed 26 Apr 1795 in Holland, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Mary Groves. Isaac died 31 Oct 1850 in Holland, the result of a broken neck from falling. Buried in Holland Cemetery.

1. Miranda Partridge, born 29 Oct 1797, Holland, Massachusetts, died 8 Dec 1888 in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Married Benjamin Dewick Weld as his second wife. Buried in North Cemetery, Sturbridge. Children.
2. Cemantha Partridge, born 9 Mar 1799 in Holland, Massachusetts; died 6 Apr 1876 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts; married Warren Plimpton. Buried in North Cemetery, Sturbridge. Children.
3. Martha Partridge, born in 1800; died 8 May in Blackstone, Massachusetts; married Ebenezer Perry Chase in Mendon, Massachusetts on 28 Nov 1830. Buried in East Blackstone Quaker Cemetery.
4. Property Partridge, born 25 Nov 1803 in Holland, Massachusetts, died 5 Apr 1804. Buried in Holland Cemetery.
5. Seth Partridge, born 12 Aug 1806; died 4 Mar 1888; married Emma Mowry. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena, Illinois.
6. Freeman Partridge, born 29 Sep 1808; died 22 Apr 1837. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena, Illinois.
7. Charlotte Partridge, born c1821, died 27 Apr 1848, aged 27. Married E. P. Burley. Buried in Holland Cemetery. Charlotte has the unusual distinction of having two gravestones. One with her father as shown in the image, and another with three of her children. Children.
