He married first, 8 Dec 1763, Keziah Harding of Medway who died 11 Jul 1764 in Barre, Massachusetts; and married second, 8 Sep 1766, Thankful Adams, born in Medway, 4 Jun 1748, daughter of Eleazer and Bathsheba (Barber) Adams. They resided in Barre, Massachusetts, where their children were born. He died there in 1827. She died 6 Jan 1830. Revolutionary War pension S. 21411 mentions both Jenett Groves and Timothy Partridge.
