Samuel Partridge was born to Joshua Partridge and Elizabeth Kingsbury in Medway, Massachusetts, Dec 26, 1752. He married in 1755, Mehetable Allen, born Mar 20, 1753, died Jan 15, 1829, daughter of Elisha and Rebecca (Pratt) Allen. He resided in Medway on the homestead of his father, which, upon his death, he bequeathed to his daughter Mehetabel Daniels. He died Feb 17, 1842. Some excellent portraits in oil of Samuel and Mehetable Partridge were in the possession of Mr. William R. Mann of Sharon, Massachusetts in 1904.

- Elizabeth Partridge, born Apr 8, 1776; died Oct 12, 1861; married (1) Oct 15, 1795, Simon Hill; married (2) Jeremiah Pratt. Four children by first husband; one by second husband.
- Matilda Partridge, born Mar 9, 1778; died Nov 17, 1856; married (1) Feb 9, 1797, Oliver Richardson; married (2) in 1807, Ariah Wheeler. Two children by first husband; one by second husband.
- Rhoda Partridge, born Dec 27, 1780; died Feb 19, 1869; married Apr 19, 1797, Elihu Fisher, born Nov 29, 1775, died Mar 5, 1850, son of Simon and Dinah (Pond) Fisher. Four children.
- Vesta Partridge, born Sep 22, 1782; died unmarried, in 1800.
- Miriam Partridge, born Aug 23, 1785; died Oct 16, 1842; married David Partridge, son of Joshua Partridge (52). They resided in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Children.
- Mehetabel Partridge, born Dec 20, 1788; died Nov 7, 1880; married Mar 24, 1808, Joseph Daniels. Two sons.
- Clarissa Partridge, born May 17, 1791; died May 3, 1871; married Apr 9, 1818, Fisher Hill. One daughter.
