Dea. Nathaniel Partridge was born to Ephraim Partridge and Lydia Harding in Medway, Massachusetts, Dec. 17, 1734, and died there Oct. 27, 1801. He married twice: first, in Medway, May 19, 1763, Mehetable Metcalf, born in Bellingham, Massachusetts, Dec. 25, 1740, daughter of John and Mary Metcalf, who died June 29, 1798; and secondly, in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Oct. 24, 1799, Mary Leland.
His children were all by his first wife, and all but one died before reaching maturity. He resided in Medway.

- Lucretia Partridge, born May 5, 1764 in Medway, Massachusetts; died Oct. 4, 1764 in Medway.
- Ephraim Partridge, born Nov. 18, 1765 in Medway; died Jan. 13, 1790; entered Rhode Island College (Brown University) in Sept., 1787, and died during the term in his 25th year.
- Mehetabel Partridge, born Jan. 6, 1767 in Medway; died Jan. 22, 1791 in Medway.
- Sarah Partridge, born June 19, 1770 in Medway; died Jan. 13, 1776 in Medway.
- Lucretia Partridge, born Oct. 22, 1772 in Medway; died Aug. 28, 1790 in Medway.
- Olive Partridge, born Jan. 31, 1775 in Medway; m. Apr. 7, 1794, Samuel Clark.
- Grace Partridge, born Oct. 6, 1777 in Medway; died Apr. 10, 1795 in Medway.
- Lydia Partridge, born Oct. 8, 1779 in Medway; died Dec. 14, 1801 in Medway.
- Deborah Partridge, born June 19, 1783 in Medway; died May 7, 1786 in Medway.
