29. Reuben Partridge was born in Medway, Nov. 21, 1741. He married, Feb. 6, 1766, Mary, born in Sherborn, Apr. 2, 1745, daughter of Moses and Deborah (Ivery) Perry. They resided in Sherborn until 1789, when they removed to Gardner, where they resided thereafter [1]Herrick’s Hist, of Gardner. All but the youngest of their children were born in Sherborn. He died Aug. 21, 1801, and his son John was appointed administrator on his estate, Oct. 20, 1801 [2]Worcester Co. Prob., Case 45587. Children:
i. MARY, b. May 15, 1767; d. Mch. 29, 1801; m. May 15, 1791, Samuel Hill of Sherborn; resided in Gardner. Two children.
ii. AMOS, b. Nov. 25, 1768; d. Sept. 9, 1854; removed to Augusta, Me., about 1801, where he resided; m. Hannah, b. Oxford, Mass., Mch. 21, 1770, d. Nov. 5, 1853, dau. of John and Hannah (Frost) Rockwood. Children: 1. Anna, 9 b. Oct. 31, 1794; d. Apr. 9, 1799. 2. Hannah, b. Jan. 2, 1798; d. Nov. 11, 1877. 3. Amos Coolidge, b. Aug. 15, 1799; d.
