… Thomas and Elizabeth are twins … “Aged Twins Are Reunited.
Aunt Manda Lunsford, the twin sister of Uncle Tom Partridge, who has been sojourning in the West, returned home last week.
As just stated, Uncle Tom and Aunt Manda are twins. They are in the 83rd year of their age, and are devoted to one another.
Aunt Manda went to Oklahoma last year to visit relatives, and after a year’s stay in the West, she was glad to get back to Alabama and be with Uncle Tom.
Uncle Tom stated Saturday that he and his sister were reared in Chambers county, Alabama, and moved to Winston county in 1876. Later on he removed to Walker county.” [Daily Mountain Eagle (Jasper, Alabama). (Wednesday, 30 Sep 1914). page 1.]
… the three children listed in the 1850 Mortality Schedule for Alabama … Sarah, Julia Ann, and Charles … were the children of Thomas and Elizabeth (Jarvis) Partridge. They are buried in the Sorrell-Forshee Cemetery in Chambers County.

Thomas Partridge (b 20 Aug 1806 NC, d 06 May 1847 Chambers County, AL, buried in the Sorrell-Forshee Cem. [Find A Grave Memorial #64369961] married Elizabeth Jarvis 25 Mar 1825 in Monroe County, Georgia. In 1860 and 1870, Elizabeth is living in Tallapoosa County, Alabama and she is listed with the family of Thomas O (her son) in the 1880 Winston County, Alabama census.
