Moses Partridge was born to Benoni Partridge and Mehitabel Wheelock in West Medway, Massachusetts, 28 Aug 1733. He inherited one half of his father’s homestead in West Medway and resided there until 1801, when he sold the place to his son Simeon, and removed to Upton, Massachusetts, where he died 6 Oct 1804. He was in the Colonial and Revolutionary service [1]Mass. Archives. He married, 9 Sep 1755, Rachel Thayer, daughter of Ziba Thayer of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. She died 6 Sep 1812.

  1. Freelove Partridge, born 11 Feb 1757; married 29 Jun 1778, David Pike. They settled in Rockingham, Vermont.
  2. Simeon Partridge, born 28 Feb 1760; married 1784, Jerusha White of Franklin, Massachusetts. He resided in West Medway, Massachusetts, where he died 9 Jan 1832. His widow died 23 Mar 1834. Children:
    • Lyman, born 21 Nov 1785; died 12 Aug 1805, unmarried.
    • Elihu, born 28 Sep 1787; died 13 Oct 1848; married (1) 7 Nov 1810, Charlotte Wight, born Medway, Massachusetts, 17 Jun 1788, d 2 Mar 1833, daughter of Dr. Aaron and Jemima Wight; married (2) 13 Mar 1834, Maria Paine, daughter of Capt. William Paine of Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Five children.
  3. Beulah Partridge, born 5 Jul 1762; died Mar 1858; married (1) 8 Dec 1782, Elias Hayward, who died 22 Oct 1783; married (2) 26 Jun 1788, Daniel Fiske of Upton, Massachusetts.
  4. Tabitha Partridge, born 30 Apr 1765; married 6 Jul 1801, James Johnson, and died soon after.
  5. Clarissa Partridge, born 14 Jun 1775; married (1) 11 Jan 1795, Gregory Ide, who died 6 Aug 1798; married (2) 23 Oct 1799, Asa Childs. She resided at Upton and Foxboro’, Massachusetts, and removed to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
