Benoni Partridge was born to John Partridge and Elizabeth Rockwood in Medfield (now Millis), Massachusetts, 25 May 1687. He was one of the proprietors of the town of Medway, Massachusetts, at its incorporation, in 1713, and took up his residence in the new grant, now West Medway [1]Jameson’s Hist. of Medway, p. 45. His children were born there. At his death, his farm was divided equally between his sons Timothy and Moses. He was a member of the First Church of Medway. He married, 14 Jul 1708, Mehetabel Wheelock, born in Medfield, 10 Sep 1689, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Kendrick) Wheelock, and grand-daughter of Ralph Wheelock, the founder of Medfield. She died 20 Jan 1761; and he died 26 Dec 1769.

- Joseph Partridge, born 22 Aug 1715; died in 1753.
- David Partridge, born 22 May 1718; died 16 Mar 1742.
- Mehetabel Partridge, born 24 Apr 1720; died 4 Aug 1741.
- Samuel Partridge, born 24 Jun 1722; died 7 Sep 1741.
- Sarah Partridge, born 27 Sep 1724; married 24 Mar 1756, Samuel, born Wenham, Massachusetts, 14 Feb 1728, died 25 Sep 1797, son of Daniel and Sarah (Fuller) Fiske. They resided in Upton and Shelburne, Massachusetts. [2]See Fiske Genealogy Children.
