Eleazer Partridge (1740-1834)

Eleazer Partridge was born to James Partridge and Keziah Bullard in Medway, Massachusetts, Apr 19, 1740. He married, in 1764, Lois Rockwood, born Jun 15, 1744, daughter of Benjamin and Mehetabel (Thompson) Rockwood. They resided in Franklin, Massachusetts, where their children were born. He died Mar 19, 1834; and she died Dec 16, 1812. They were both buried at Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.

Elias Partridge, born Feb 7, 1766 in Franklin, Massachusetts; died Mar 6, 1857, aged 91 years; married Dec 31, 1794, Abigail Chase of Sutton, Massachusetts, who was born Mar 21, 1770, and died Sep 22, 1838 in Paris, she was a sister of Luke Chase of Paris, and daughter of Bradford and Abigail (Sibley) Chase, they were some of the first settlers in Paris, Maine. They were both buried in the Partridge Cemetery in Paris, Maine. Children.
2. Silence Partridge, born 29 Aug 1767; died 21 Sep 1767.
3. Lois Partridge, born 17 Sep 1768; died 9 Jul 1786.
4. Tryphena Partridge, born 27 Oct 1770; died 11 Mar 1771.
5. Asa Partridge, born 19 Apr 1773; died 26 Apr 1858; married (1) 1 Jan 1801, Polly Richardson of Franklin, Massachusetts, who died 5 Dec 1848, aged 76; resided in Franklin. Married (2) before 1850, Elizabeth Fairbanks, daughter of Levi Fairbanks and Molly Fuller of Medway, Her father died when she was three months old, and her mother was left to raise six minor children. Eliza became a missionary to the Choctaws in Mississippi. It was likely there that she was married on 28 March 1828 to Rev. William Hooper, also a missionary. Her husband died within six months of their marriage, on 8 September 1828. Elizabeth returned home to Franklin, MA by 1850. No children.
6. Julia Partridge, born 3 Sep 1775: died 14 Feb 1782 in Franklin.
7. Phineas Partridge (Phinehas Partridge), born 16 Mar 1777 in Franklin, Massachusetts; died 14 Dec 1845 in Medway, Massachusetts; married (1) 7 May 1801, Abigail Allen, daughter of Jonathan and Abigail (Harding) Allen, born 7 Oct 1777 in Medfield, Massachusetts, died 24 May 1819 in Franklin; married (2) 1 Nov 1819, Polly Wheeler, born 27 Sep 1790 in Franklin; died 9 Jan 1866; resided in Franklin. Resided in Frankin and Roxbury, Massachusetts. They are both buried in the Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
8. Mehetabel Partridge, born 24 May 1779 in Franklin, Massachusetts; died 27 Jun 1779 in Franklin.
9. Keziah Partridge, born 10 Sep 1780 in Franklin, Massachusetts; died 27 Sep 1864.

Nathan Partridge, born 1 Aug 1786 in Franklin, Massachusetts; died 21 Jul 1825 in Franklin; married 12 Jan 1815 in Franklin, Sarah Bassett, daughter of Simeon and Abigail (Huse) Bassett, born 1 Apr 1793 in Northbridge, Massachusetts, died 9 May 1873 in Franklin; resided in Franklin and Weymouth.
