Ebenezer Partridge (1706-1794)

Ebenezer Partridge was born to Samuel Partridge and Hannah Mason in Medfield, Massachusetts (now Rockville, Massachusetts), 29 May 1706. He settled in Wrentham, Massachusetts (now Franklin, Massachusetts), where he afterwards resided. He married in Walpole, Massachusetts, 5 Nov 1735, Elizabeth Holmes. She died 6 Oct 1784. He died 15 May 1794. They had 3 children.

Zachariah Partridge was born to Eleazer Partridge and Elizabeth Allen in Medfield, Massachusetts, on 22 Mar 1720. He settled in Walpole. His father referred to him in his will as ” my son, being yet young,” and desired that he be apprenticed ” to such trade as he may choose.” He was also to receive £10 upon becoming of age [1]Suffolk Co. Eleazer Partridge (1693-1776)

Eleazer Partridge was born to Eleazer Partridge and Elizabeth Smith in Medfield, Massachusetts, March 7, 1693. He settled in that portion of Dedham, Massachusetts, which, in 1724, became Walpole, Massachusetts. Of the births of his children, three are recorded in Medfield, three in Dedham, and that of the youngest in Walpole. He married twice: first, April 11, 1715, Sarah Taylor, who died Feb., 1758; and second, Nov. 20, 1759, Ruth Ware, born in Wrentham, Massachusetts, Oct. 14, 1720, daughter of Ebenezer and Bethia Ware. Eleazer Partridge (1664-1736)

Eleazer Partridge was born in Medfield, Massachusetts, 20 Feb 1664 to John Partridge and Magdalene Bullard. He inherited his father’s homestead in Medfield, and resided there until about 1723, when he purchased a tract of land in Bellingham, Massachusetts, and removed there. This property was in the vicinity of what is now North Bellingham, which for a century and a half was known as Partridgetown, and was still so designated by the oldest inhabitants until the 20th century.
