Zachariah Partridge was born to Eleazer Partridge and Elizabeth Allen in Medfield, Massachusetts, on 22 Mar 1720. He settled in Walpole. His father referred to him in his will as ” my son, being yet young,” and desired that he be apprenticed ” to such trade as he may choose.” He was also to receive £10 upon becoming of age [1]Suffolk Co. Prob. Rec, vol. xxxiii., p. 5.. He married in Walpole, Massachusetts, 17 Feb 1742, Esther Turner, daughter of Ebenezer and Esther (Clark) Turner, of Medfield. They resided in Walpole, and their children were born there. “Mercy, wife of Zachariah Partridge, died 25 Apr 1798.” [2]Walpole Records. No record of a second marriage has yet been found. He died 7 Feb 1799.
