Jonathan Partridge was born to John Partridge and Elizabeth Adams in Medfield (now Millis), Massachusetts, Nov 25, 1693. He drew land in Medway, Massachusetts, in 1713, and was selectman there in 1738. His farm lay about a mile north of Medway village. In 1742, he sold this place to his brother James, and removed to Sherborn, Massachusetts. He resided there about ten years, and then removed to Barre, Rutland District, Massachusetts, where he died about 1758. He married three times: first, 13 Nov 1717, Elizabeth Learned, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, 27 Jul 1696, daughter of Isaac and Sarah (Bigelow) Learned. …

Benoni Partridge (1687-1769)

Benoni Partridge was born to John Partridge and Elizabeth Rockwood in Medfield (now Millis), Massachusetts, 25 May 1687. He was one of the proprietors of the town of Medway, Massachusetts, at its incorporation, in 1713, and took up his residence in the new grant, now West Medway [1]Jameson’s Hist. of Medway, p. 45. His children were born there. At his death, his farm was divided equally between his sons Timothy and Moses. He was a member of the First Church of Medway. John Partridge was born to John Partridge and Elizabeth Rockwood in Medfield (now Millis), Massachusetts, but the date of his birth is not recorded. He married, 3 Feb 1709, Anna Pond, born in Wrentham, Massachusetts, 2 Oct 1689, daughter of Robert and Joanna Pond. She died 6 Mar 1756; and he died 6 Sep 1756, aged 73 years. They are buried at North Bellingham, Massachusetts. He settled, soon after his marriage, in Wrentham where he afterwards lived. Eleazer Partridge was born in Medfield, Massachusetts, 20 Feb 1664 to John Partridge and Magdalene Bullard. He inherited his father’s homestead in Medfield, and resided there until about 1723, when he purchased a tract of land in Bellingham, Massachusetts, and removed there. William Partridge of Medfield, Mass., and His Descendants

In 1909 George Homer Partridge (GHP) published his second genealogy of the Partridge family in the New England Historical and Genealogical Society Register and titled it William Partridge of Medfield, Mass., and His Descendants. This genealogy was published in the January 1909 edition of NEHGS Register (vol. LXIII) pages 90-95. This same genealogy was subsequently published in 1909 by the Press of David Clapp & Son in Boston, Massachusetts in book format, being an exact reprint of the original article. GHP had previously published his Partridge genealogy. Descendants of John Partridge of Medfield, Mass in 1904. John Partridge was the brother to William Partridge.

Abel Partridge was born to Seth Partridge and Sarah Ellis in Medfield, Massachusetts, Nov. 14, 1739. He sold out his rights in his father’s estate to his brother Nathan Partridge. His wife’s name was Miriam _______. She died in 1799, “after having been supported by the town.” Abel was also a public charge, and died 30 Mar. 1814.
